Egypt football legend, Ahmed ‘Mido’ Hossam, has claimed that Liverpool ace Mohamed Salah will go to the Saudi Pro League next year.

Salah was heavily linked with a move to Saudi Pro League side Al-Ittihad in the latter stages of the summer transfer window.

But Liverpool rejected a £150 million bid from Al-Ittihad for the Egyptian international.

The Reds held on to Salah once the Saudi transfer window slammed shut on September 7.

However, Mido still reckons Salah will eventually head to the Middle East in the future.

“Mohamed Salah will go to the Saudi Pro League. But it will be a good thing if he manages to win the Premier League title first this season.” Mido told King Fut.

“After the next season, he will have only one season left on his contract with Liverpool. Next year, Liverpool will not be able to ask for more than £70 or 80 or 100 million for the sale of Mohamed Salah.”

Salah has been vital for Liverpool since he arrived at Anfield six years ago.

The 31-year-old has scored 188 goals and registered 81 assists in 309 games across competitions for Jurgen Klopp’s side.
