Former Arsenal defender, Sol Campbell has backed the Gunners to beat Chelsea when they host the Blues in the Premier League on Sunday, March 1, at the Emirates Stadium.

Campbell also tipped Mikel Arteta’s side to win the Premier League title this season.

He spoke after Arsenal recently defeated Tottenham Hotspur 4-1 in the North London derby.

Arsenal are five points ahead of second-placed Manchester City in the Premier League table at the moment.

However, Pep Guardiola’s side has a game in hand as they have played 27 matches so far.

“A 4-1 win away from home, keep going, keep rocking, and we are going to get there. We are going to do it [win the Premier League title] this year,” Campbell said as quoted by Metro UK.

Arsenal are back in action next weekend when they welcome Liam Rosenior’s side.

The Gunners defeated Chelsea over two legs in the Carabao Cup semi-final this season.

However, when asked if Arsenal would be victorious again against Chelsea, Campbell added: “We have done [beaten] them in the cup, we can beat them again.”
