Two Manchester United legends, Ole Gunnar Solksjaer and Michael Carrick, are locked in a two-way battle to become interim manager of the first team until the end of the season.
According to Daily Mail, United’s chief executive Omar Berrada and the director of football Jason Wilcox, both spoke to Solskjaer and Carrick on Tuesday.

Before then, another former Manchester United midfielder Darren Fletcher, will be in charge for Wednesday night’s Premier League clash at Burnley.
Ruud van Nistelrooy is no longer under consideration at this point in time.
Solskjaer was as a temporary replacement for Jose Mourinho in December 2018 led to him staying in charge for almost three years.
