Sunderland have moved into second position in the Premier League table, following a sensational 2-1 win over Chelsea on Saturday.

The Black Cats have given a good account of themselves, since they gained promotion to the topflight after winning the playoffs.

However, they found themselves behind at Stamford Bridge, after Alejandro Garnacho opened the scoring early in the first half.

But Sunderland was levelled in the 22nd minute, after Wilson Isidor got on the end of a long throw to prod the ball home.

They grabbed the winner in stoppage time through Chemsdine Talbi, who stroked the ball past a rooted Robert Sanchez.

Sunderland now has 17 points after nine fixture, two less than Arsenal who have a game in hand.
