Former Crystal Palace owner, Simon Jordan has urged Chelsea co-owner, Todd Boehly to make public his reason for kicking Thomas Tuchel out of the club.

Tuchel was sacked in September 2022 after a poor start to their 2022/23 season.

The Blues suffered a loss against Dinamo Zagreb in the Champions League which proved to be Tuchel’s last straw.

Many Chelsea fans received the news of Tuchel’s dismissal in shock as he had only 15 months guided the Blues to Champions League glory.

And Jordan, a former Palace Chairman, believes there is a lot more behind Boehly’s decision.

“There’s a lot more behind the scenes of Tuchel that would make most people’s eyes water as to the reasons why Todd Boehly made that decision and it wasn’t just a case of losing to Dinamo Zagreb, it was case of a whole raft of other things – that’s Todd Boehly got to tell people what that is,” he said.
