Former Arsenal forward, Theo Walcott has claimed that the Gunners ‘played almost like a Jose Mourinho side’ during their Premier League London derby 1-0 win on Sunday.
Gabriel scored the only goal of the match to give Mikel Arteta’s side all three points against the hosts.
Speaking about the encounter, Walcott, who made almost 400 appearances for Arsenal in his 11-year stay at Emirates Stadium, told Match of the Day:
“It doesn’t really matter how they [Arsenal] got it, it was a great result for Arsenal.
“They showed again that they can mix it up because they played almost like a Jose Mourinho side to see the game out.”
