Arsenal star Jorginho has revealed how he learnt his quirky penalty technique.
Jorginho has scored many penalties in his career for club and country using his unique style of dispatching them.
The Italy international would scamper forward a few steps, hop right and then kick the ball with his eyes fixated on the goalkeeper in front of him all the while.
The 31-year-old revealed how he came to master the style while speaking on the show ‘Uncut’ for Premier League’s official YouTube channel.
“It started from a joke in training, years ago when I was playing in Naples. I used to stay after training, just messing about with my teammates, I just did it as a joke [on my teammate] and it worked on him.
“He told me to try it with the goalkeeper and then I tried it with the goalkeeper, they went mad.”
The European Championship winner has scored a total of 41 penalties in his career with 27 coming during his days at Chelsea.
He has missed only seven.
