Arsenal midfielder Granit Xhaka has predicted the outcome of the Premier League clash between Mikel Arteta’s Gunners and Liverpool.

Arsenal’s next Premier League game is against Jurgen Klopp’s Reds, who are fighting their way into the top four of the England topflight.

Mikel Arteta’s side has lost just three of their last four matches at Anfield and have conceded 12 goals in those games.

Their last win at Anfield came as far back as 2012 with Robin van Persie scoring twice to help the then Arsene Wenger’s side to a 2-1 win.

Arsenal defeated Leeds United 4-1 at the weekend to sustain their 8-point lead over Manchester City in the Premier League table while Liverpool were beaten by the same margin by Pep Guardiola’s side.

Speaking to Express ahead of the big clash at Anfield, the Switzerland international said.”It does not matter how their season is going – they are always a dangerous team and, at Anfield, a very difficult team to play.

“But we have enough confidence to win there as well. This is what we will try to do. That’s why we are going there so let’s see if we can bring the three points back.”
