Manchester United midfielder, Casemiro has singled out five of his teammates for special praise after securing his first trophy (Carabao Cup) under manager Erik ten Hag last weekend.
Casemiro named the likes of Lisandro Martinez, Christian Eriksen, Raphael Varane, Bruno Fernandes and Fred as the key reasons for Man United’s success so far this season.
The former Real Madrid star described the five players as high-quality footballers and world-class players.
“Every team has its own way of playing. It is true here I have a greater role in the attack,” Casemiro said on United Review.
“I will say it again; it is impossible to do it on your own. There’s the quality of my teammates.
“There’s Licha (Lisandro Martinez) and Varane – high-quality players.
“Christian, who I played alongside for a long time, is another exceptional player. Fredinho (Fred) is another excellent player, then there is Bruno, who plays a bit further forward, a world-class player.”
