Former Tottenham Hotspur manager, Tim Sherwood, has claimed that Chelsea are not Arsenal’s biggest rivals for the Premier League title.

According to Sherwood, Manchester City’s experience makes them the team most capable of challenging the Gunners.

Chelsea can cut Arsenal’s lead at the top of the table to just three points when the two sides meet on Sunday.

On Saturday, however, City reduced the gap between themselves and Arsenal to four points with a 3–2 win over Leeds United.

“I think the nearest challengers will come from the team with the experience of being able to win the league and that’s Man City,” Sherwood said on Sky Sports.
“They will be the nearest challengers.”
