Manchester City midfielder, Rodri, has warned Arsenal, saying there is still a long way to go in the Premier League title race.

He said that City will continue to push forward after a tough draw against Chelsea on Sunday night.

In the final moments of the game, Enzo Fernandez scored an equalizer to help Chelsea draw 1-1 at the Etihad Stadium.

This was Chelsea’s first match since Enzo Maresca stepped down as manager.

Tijjani Reijnders scored for City in the first half and it seemed like it would be enough to win, but Chelsea, who was managed by caretaker coach, Calum McFarlan, scored a late goal that hurt the home side’s chances of winning the title.

Manchester City also lost points to Sunderland before Chelsea came to visit, and now they are six points behind Arsenal.

Rodri said, “It’s frustrating, of course, but in the end, that’s just how things are.

“We made enough opportunities to win the game by three or four goals, but this is football. So we have to learn from this.

“There’s still a long road ahead, and we just need to concentrate on the upcoming games. The first half was really good, and we could have scored three or four goals. In the second half, we didn’t play as well as before and they took control of the game, losing some easy chances.

“Sometimes when you keep defending, defending, defending, they didn’t have much but they still managed to get a draw. There’s still a long way to go.

“Every time a player gets injured and leaves the game, it throws the team off balance, but of course the team has to make adjustments. It’s not an excuse, we have enough skilled players to play, but in the second half we lose a little bit of face.

“We move on, our next game is against Brighton at home, and we need to win. We know this season will be long, so we have to keep pushing forward.”
