Former Arsenal striker, Alan Smith has named the only two clubs to compete for the Premier League title this season.

According to Smith, Arsenal and Manchester City are the two teams that will challenge for the English top-flight league title, adding that it is a ‘two-horse race’.

Arsenal are currently on top of the Premier League table ahead of second-placed Man City.

Four points presently separate both teams after eleven Premier League matches.

“I thought it would be difficult to make firm conclusions if the match between Man City and Liverpool was close,” Smith told Metro.

“But City were so much better and superior that now you’re looking at Liverpool and doubting they have enough for the title challenge.

“Arsenal and Man City, it will be a two-horse race between those two. It is going to be fascinating to see how that develops.”
