Former Manchester United defender, Gary Neville has criticized Alejandro Garnacho, Jorrel Hato, and Benoit Badiashiele after Chelsea beat West Ham United 3-2 in the Premier League on Saturday.

He mentioned that those players had ‘very bad experiences’ while playing for Chelsea against West Ham on Saturday, adding that Garnacho’s confidence is ‘completely broken.’

Garnacho, 21-year-old, moved to Stamford Bridge from Manchester United last  summer and has played 26 matches across all competitions, scoring six goals.

He started the game against the Hammers last weekend on the left wing.

However, it was a difficult day for Garnacho, who had to be taken off at halftime when Chelsea were 2-0 behind their London rivals.

Manager Liam Rosenior made changes to the team’s strategy at halftime, and they came back strongly to win 3-2.

Neville thinks the team was much better without Garnacho playing.

Speaking on The Gary Neville podcast, the former Manchester United defender said, “In the first half, West Ham were absolutely fantastic.

“They controlled the game, even though they didn’t have the ball much, they really controlled the game. They had the best opportunities, they were more physical, and Chelsea’s left side was completely broken down.

“Alejandro Garnacho is a player who people have different opinions about, I think, sometimes. Many people are asking, ‘Is he really top-class, or what’s his real level? Where is he in the pecking order?’

“What was hard to watch last night was a young player like that, who joined Chelsea, and he seemed really unsure of himself on the left side.

“I’m not just talking about when Aaron Wan-Bissaka kept running forward, but also when he received the ball his first move was to go back, and then he just kept moving back and passing it away.

“It was a really uncomfortable and terrible experience for both Hato and Garnacho on that left side, and Badiashiele. Once he made the change, the game completely changed in a big way.”
