Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, has hinted that their Premier League clash against Arsenal could decide the title.

Guardiola was speaking after his team fought from a goal down to defeat Liverpool 2-1 on Sunday.

The result ensured that City maintains the six-point gap between themselves and the Gunners.

Guardiola believes all they need to do is keep pace with Mikel Arteta’s men and wait for the league leaders to slip up.

“All we can do is breathe down the neck of Arsenal, being there, and try if they slip, if they make something [a mistake], use it,” he said.

“We have to play them [Arsenal] at home, so of course we have to beat them.”

BREAKING: Arsenal has officially completed the signing of a 30-year-old free agent striker, who scored 28 goals across all competitions last season. The player successfully passed his medical today and has signed a one-year contract with the Gunners. Congratulations to all Arsenal fans!
