Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, has said he would be a keen watcher when Chelsea take on Arsenal in the Premier League on Sunday.

Guardiola was speaking after his team fought off Leeds United to win 3-2 on Saturday.

City began the game in flying fashion and took a two-goal lead in the first half through Phil Foden and Josko Gvardiol.

The visitors fought back after the break through Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Felix Nmecha, before Foden won it in the 91st minute.

“The game was not in the perfect place in the first half, but it should be over for the chances we have and we didn’t concede,” Guardiola said.

“To get the three points and after two defeats it’s massively important for our mood. It’s important to go second and we’ll see tomorrow what happens at Arsenal and Chelsea.

“But it’s important to be as close to the top as possible and to try to the end.”
