Chelsea’s former attacking midfielder, Joe Cole has told players who appear not happy at the club that they can use the exit doors.
He said before they joined the club, they must have known that their playing time would be limited at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea have spent close to £600m to sign new players in the last two transfer windows and Cole believes there will be a ‘big shift of players’ over the next two windows.
“The players [who are on the bench] have known before they came that there’d be huge challenges to make the team,” he told BT Sport.
“And if they’re not happy, there will be the opportunity to leave.
“In the next two windows, there’ll be a big shift of players leaving as well.”
