Brentford manager, Keith Andrews has issued a warning to Bryan Mbeumo as the Cameroonian returns to the club for the first time since after his transfer to Manchester United.
Manchester United travel to Brentford for a Premier League clash on Saturday.
Keith warns Mbeumo that the forward should expect a ‘not nice reception on the pitch’ during the clash.
Manchester United would be hoping to further boost their confidence with a back-to-back win in the league as they travel to the G-tech Community Stadium.
A back-to-back win in the league would be the first for the Red Devils under Ruben Amorim following their 2-1 victory against Chelsea the last time.
Mbeumo has positioned himself as one of the key stars at Old Trafford following his switch from the west London side to Manchester over the summer in a deal worth up to £71million.
Before leaving the Bees last season, the 26-year-old recorded a career-best 20 goals and nine assists for Thomas Frank’s former team.
Andrews, during his pre-match press conference on Friday, promised the Cameroonian a ‘really good reception from the fans’.
“Bryan rightly should get a really good reception. Having said that, I don’t want us to give him a nice reception on the pitch.
“Yes, we know all about him…we’ll hopefully try to nullify that by making an afternoon that he doesn’t enjoy,” he said.
