Former Chelsea defender, Frank Leboeuf has told Liverpool’s player Mohamed Salah that the Egyptian no longer has talent.
The Egyptian has been playing at Anfield for nine seasons now, after moving from AS Roma in the summer of 2017.
He had great stats for the club, having scored 251 goals and made 120 assists in 427 games throughout different competitions.
However, he has scored only six goals and provided seven assists in 26 games this campaign.
Salah’s most recent goal came during the Reds’ tough 1-0 Premier League victory over Sunderland on Wednesday.
However, the Egyptian player has not managed to score in eight league games since his last goal against Aston Villa in November.
Lebouef said on ESPN, “At some point, even when Salah was scoring goals, you could still notice some awkward movements.
“It seems odd coming from a player like him. He’s kind of clumsy. This season, it feels like we only notice the awkward moments. It’s crazy because he moved from being an outstanding player to becoming just an ordinary one.
“It’s really bothering me because he doesn’t deserve this. Salah has displayed, especially during his time at Liverpool, all of his abilities. Where is his talent? It’s like it vanished.
Salah made 34 goals and provided 23 assists in 52 matches throughout different competitions last season.
It involved 29 goals and 18 assists in 38 games during the Reds’ successful Premier League season, which was Arne Slot’s first season managing in English football.
