Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand has singled out England midfielder Declan Rice for praise for his display at Euro 2024.
Ferdinand said the Arsenal star has been solid at the European Championships.
Rice has been an undisputed starter for the Three Lions in Germany.
Speaking on the Rest is Football show, Ferdinand said about the former West Ham United star: “Declan has been solid. Some people say, ‘he doesn’t play this, he doesn’t play that.’ Without him, I don’t know what we do.
“Who plays that role in this squad? In terms of importance [he is up there].”
