Manchester United legend, Paul Scholes has handed England manager Gareth Southgate three changes to make in his starting XI amid the ongoing Euro 2024.

Scholes wants Southgate to move Trent Alexander-Arnold to left-back in one of three chances he wants made when England face Slovenia in their final Euro 2024 group game on Tuesday.

He also wants Manchester United’s Kobbie Mainoo and Chelsea’s Cole Palmer to start in midfield.

The former England international said this in a post on his Instagram story.

He wrote: “Sunday am thoughts… TAA left-back, Kobbie Mainoo centre mid, Palmer on the right… would give reasons but too many touchy f***ers out there.”

England currently have four points in Group C after beating Serbia 1-0 and playing a 1-1 draw with Denmark.
