Chelsea are set to play Real Betis in the final of the Europa Conference League this month.

The Blues on Thursday, booked their spot after they beat Djugarden 1-0 at Stamford Bridge.

Enzo Maresca’s men had won the first leg 4-1 and were favourites to qualify in front of their fans.

With the tie already all-but, the Italian made 10 changes to his team with both eyes looking ahead to Sunday’s Premier League game at Newcastle United, which could have major ramifications in their hopes of Champions League qualification.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall scored the only goal in the 38th minute, following great play from Tyrique George.

In the other semi-final, Betis needed a goal in extra time from Abde Ezzalzouli to see off Fiorentina.

The LaLiga side had won 2-1 in Spain and although they took the lead in Italy through Antony, the hosts scored twice to level the tie on aggregate.
