Manchester United boss, Ruben Amorim, has named two Red Devils players who need to improve.

Speaking at a press conference ahead of his side’s UEFA Europa League clash with Lyon on Thursday night, Amorim suggested that the likes of Kobbie Mainoo and Joshua Zirkzee need to improve in order to become better players.

“When I see Kobbie [Mainoo], I see a lot of talent,” Amorim said.

“But the way I see it – and I could be wrong – but I see some things that Kobbie has to improve.

“His pace in the game. He needs to improve in the build-up.”

On Zirkzee, the Portuguese added, “I think he’s improving in all aspects.

“I think he needs to be more selfish and that’s a thing when you play as a striker.”

Amorim’s men head into the Lyon match following a goalless draw with Manchester City in the Premier League in their last game.
