Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola Badmus, widely known as Portable, has taken a swipe at fellow musician Mavo, labeling him as “untalented.”
In a video shared on his social media platforms, Portable accused the Shakabulizzy star of depending too much on auto-tune in his music.
Using a clip from Mavo’s live performance, the Zazu hitmaker suggested that the performance reflects a lack of musical skill.
Portable further asserted that the artists signed under his label possess greater talent than Mavo.
He said, “Mavo uses auto-tune. I’ve been seeing some celebrities associating and collaborating with you.
“You now went to do a live band. Is that how to perform? Even my signees sing better than you.
“Your live performance is shambolic. That’s not how to use a live band. I blame the superstars who overlook real talents and support overhyped wack artists.”
