Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandez has admitted that Aston Villa goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez gets overconfident when facing the Blues.
Fernandez and Martinez will face each other in the FA Cup on Friday 26 January when the Blues host Aston Villa at Stamford Bridge in the fourth round.
Fernandez said this about his fellow Argentine while speaking to ESPN.
“Facing Emi on Friday in the FA Cup? He’s quite cocky, forget about it. He always gets overconfident with Chelsea.
“I don’t know what he has against us. Haha.
“But well, hopefully, it will be a great match, and, obviously, we can win. It will be special.”
