The family of the late Aladi Offikwu Johnson, a 24-year-old woman from Benue, who was tragically murd3red by an unidentified individual in an Abuja hotel on Monday, June 15, has announced her burial arrangements.
According to the arrangements released by the family, her body will depart Abuja today, Monday, June 23, for her hometown, Olaidu, Edumoga Ehaje, in Okpokwu Local Government Area of Benue State. She will be laid to rest the same day at her family compound.
Earlier reports indicated that the victim checked into a hotel located on 3rd Avenue in Gwarinpa on June 15, 2025, accompanied by an unidentified man. The man was later seen leaving the hotel premises without her.
Hotel staff discovered the deceased unconscious during routine service rounds, with her hands tied and her face buried in the bedsheet. The police were alerted, and her body was evacuated while efforts are underway to apprehend her killer.
