Georgina Onuoha, the Nollywood star who has been living abroad for several years, has shared her thoughts on Ned Nwoko’s remarks about Regina Daniels amid the ongoing tensions in their marriage.
The controversy began after Regina Daniels took a substance test in the US following allegations of drug use from her estranged husband. She later shared the test results publicly, prompting widespread reactions from Nigerians, with some questioning why it took her so long to undergo the test.
In a detailed Instagram post, Onuoha, affectionately known as Gina, said she had anticipated Ned Nwoko’s response after Regina completed the test. She suggested that the politician struggled with seeing his estranged wife move forward and seemed determined to control the narrative surrounding her life.
Onuoha expressed admiration for Regina, praising her for taking the test in a country known for having strict medical and legal regulations. She emphasized that scientific evidence does not support Nwoko’s claims, pointing out that substances remain in the bloodstream for days and in hair follicles for months. She also accused the businessman of being overly fixated on the actress.
Additionally, Onuoha reminded Ned Nwoko not to speak about credibility, citing a UK court case linked to him that is a matter of public record. She also mentioned his daughter’s marriage to a younger man, implying that Regina should be allowed to live her life freely among her peers.
Onuoha concluded by stating that Nwoko should engage with women closer to his own age and professional level.
This is not the first time Onuoha has shared her opinion on Regina Daniels’ marital situation.
