FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup: Four Countries Qualify For Quarter-final

Four countries have booked their place in the quarter-final stage at the ongoing FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup in Morocco.

The four countries are Italy, Brazil, the Netherlands and North Korea.

They advanced to the last-8 following the conclusion of Tuesday’s Round of 16 matches.

NEWSUNPLUG reports that Italy thrashed Nigeria 4-0, while Brazil defeated China 3-0.

North Korea defeated host nation Morocco 6-1, while the Netherlands defeated the United States via penalty shoot-out following a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, more Round of 16 matches will take place today (Wednesday).

The competition started on 17 October and will end on 8 November 2025.
