Ahead of their knockout clash on Wednesday night at the ongoing FIFA U20 World Cup, Argentina coach, Diego Placente, has revealed where the Nigerians are dangerous.
Flying Eagles of Nigeria will face Argentina on Wednesday at the Julio Martinez Pradanos National Stadium.
The winner of the game would progress to the quarterfinals of the competition.
Los Cebollitas emerged winners of Group D, securing victories in all three matches and entering the knockout stage with confidence.
Nigeria entered the knockout stage after finishing as the second-best third-placed team.
Placente said the Nigerians are dangerous on the counterattack.
Speaking to TyC Sports on the eve of the match, Placente said: “Playing the same way, knowing that they are very dangerous on the counterattack.
“Sometimes when you analyse, you are a little disorganised, but when a team is very long, it has its good and bad sides.
“You have more possession there, but every time you lose it, you suffer a lot more.”
The Flying Eagles eliminated Argentina at the 2023 FIFA U20 World Cup.
