Four persons have been arrested after the police in Lagos state burst a facility in the Agege area of the state where fake alcoholic drinks were being produced.
Disclosing this on X, the spokesperson of the command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, said the arrest was carried out by men of the Isokoko police division who received intel of the nefarious activities of the suspects.
He stated that fake drinks as well as empty bottles and labels of different brands were recovered from the scene of the arrest.
‘Officers of Isokoko Division, acting on credible information, raided a house in Agege where fake alcoholic drinks were being produced. The police arrested four people behind the illegal distillery and recovered fake drinks, empty bottles and labels of different brands. The investigation is ongoing.’’
