Four Benue Bank Robbery Suspects Arrested

A police source made the development known late Saturday night while sharing a video of the armed robbery suspects.

Joint Security Forces comprising officers of the Nigeria Police Force, and the Nigerian Armed Forces, amongst others, arrested four suspects along Otukpo-Taraku road, Benue State, on Saturday, October 21, in connection to the Benue bank robbery which led to the death of some police officers.

A police source made the development known to Punch correspondent late Saturday night while sharing a video of the armed robbery suspects.

“Four armed robbers have been arrested by Joint Security Forces along Otukpo-Taraku road, Benue State on Saturday. The robbers are part of those armed robbers who attacked banks and a police station at Otukpo, Benue State yesterday.”

When contacted, the Benue State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Catherine Anene, urged newsmen to await the conclusion of the investigation by the investigation team.
