Maduka Okoye has been ruled out of Super Eagles’ friendly against Jordan due to injury, NEWSUNPLUG reports.
Okoye, according to the Super Eagles media officer, Promise Efoghe suffered a thigh knock in training.
The 26-year-old is now expected to return to his Italian club, Udinese, for treatment.
The former Watford shot stopper was in goal during Nigeria’s 2-1 win over Iran’s Team Melli last week Friday.
Omonia Nicosia’s Francis Uzoho is expected to take his place in goal against Jordan.
Adebayo Adeleye is the other goalkeeper in the team.
The Super Eagles will be up against the Al-Nashama in Antalya, Turkey, on Tuesday night.
