AC Milan could secure a €24 million return on Samuel Chukwueze as Fulham consider to convert the Nigerian winger’s loan into a permanent transfer at the end of the season, according to reports from Italy.
Chukwueze joined the Premier League side on a season-long loan last summer and has delivered solid performances despite not being a guaranteed starter.
The Super Eagles winger has contributed three goals and four assists in 12 appearances across competitions, a return that has kept Fulham weighing up the purchase option included in the deal.
The London club retain full control over whether to proceed with the transfer, but activating the clause would require a €24m payment, a figure Milan are prepared to accept as part of a wider squad overhaul strategy.
Milan’s loan strategy takes shape
The Rossoneri are aiming to raise more than €70m from players currently out on loan as they restructure their squad ahead of the next campaign.
Milan have already taken steps in this direction. Full-back Alex Jimenez is set to join AFC Bournemouth permanently for €19.5m, with an additional €5m tied to performance-based bonuses, following his loan spell during the 2025/26 season. That deal alone moves Milan significantly closer to their revenue target.
More departures on the table
Chukwueze is not the only player Milan are prepared to offload. Álvaro Morata, currently on loan at Como, remains available, while striker Lorenzo Colombo has enhanced his value at Genoa, scoring six goals in 24 appearances and attracting interest at an estimated €10m.
In parallel, Milan are also working on incoming and internal adjustments.
Reports indicate an agreement has been reached with Bologna for the permanent transfer of midfielder Tommaso Pobega in a deal worth around €7m.
Filippo Terracciano is another expected departure, with Cremonese poised to complete a €3.5m permanent move, provided the club avoids relegation from Serie A.
