Nollywood actress Funke Akindele is celebrating her senior colleague, Patience Ozokwo, on her birthday.
Taking to her Instagram page to share a clip of the veteran on the set of Everybody Loves Jenifa movie, she appreciated her for her motherly support throughout the movie. Funke thanked her for her wisdom and discipline and for the many lives she has touched through her craft and heart.
She described Patience as a true legend and a blessing to their industry and prayed that God continues to bless them with good health, joy, and long life.

Newsunplug reported on Sunday that Patience had turned 67. To celebrate her new age, Patience shared a new photo via her Instagram page, revealing that she wasn’t counting the years anymore but only her blessings.
Last year, while celebrating Patience’s birthday, comedian Basketmouth recalled the conversation he had with her to be a part of his movie. Basketmouth stated that the level of support she showed him meant the world to him as he expressed how blessed he was to share the same birthday with her.
Patience Ozokwo has undoubtedly come a long way in the industry and she is finally reaping her rewards.
Last year, she already had called for support as she counted down to celebrating 45 years in the industry. Mama G, as she is fondly known as, recalled how her journey began with a single step.
In 2023, the veteran penned a heartfelt note to her children after she bagged a Lifetime Achievement Award. She recounted how her children sacrificed a lot and stayed without a mother while she was filming. She appreciated them for surrounding her with love and acceptance.
