The 2026 Golden Globe Awards celebrated the best in film and television of the past 12 months, with notable wins across major categories
The 83rd Golden Globe Awards ceremony was held on Sunday night, January 12, at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California.
American comedian Nikki Glaser opened Sunday’s Golden Globes with a sharp monologue. She joked about stars possibly being in the Epstein Files and took a jab at CBS for editing a critical “60 Minutes” story.
Paul Thomas Anderson’s One Battle After Another and Netflix’s Adolescence both came out on top, with four wins each.
Paul’s film, starring Leonardo DiCaprio, took home the win for Best Picture, Musical or Comedy. Hamnet, which won two awards, won the Golden Globe for Best Picture, Drama.
Just behind were a handful of shows and films, including Apple TV’s The Studio, HBO’s The Pitt, KPop Demon Hunters, Sinners , and The Secret Agent, which all took home two wins.
American actress and singer, Teyana Taylor achieved a career milestone at the 2026 Golden Globes when she won her first Golden Globe for “One Battle After Another.” She took home the prize for supporting female actor.
