Gunmen have abducted a journalist, Salis Manaja, while on his way from Abakaliki to Ilorin for a media fellowship.
Manaja was reported missing on Saturday, October 11, 2025 after attempts by his colleagues to reach the multimedia specialist failed when his phone became unreachable.
The abductors have reportedly made contact, demanding a ransom for his release.
