Paris Saint-Germain superstar Lionel Messi has expressed his displeasure over the manner former team-mate Ronaldinho was treated at Barcelona.

Ronaldinho played 207 games, scored 94 goals and provided 70 assists for Barcelona before exiting Camp Nou in 2008.

Messi said he would have liked the Brazilian legend to stay at Barcelona for some more years.

Speaking with Indian Express, the Argentina captain said, “What happened was ugly. He didn’t deserve that after everything he did for the club.

“Changing Barcelona’s history. The way he left was very strange, I wish I could have spent a couple more years with him.”

Ronaldinho left the Catalan side and joined AC Milan immediately Pep Guardiola arrived Camp Nou.
