Nigerian twitter users have called the attention of the police to the noticeable old wounds on the wrists of a 7-year-old boy who was found in Ago, Okota area of Lagos State.

Spokesperson of the command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, in a statement on Saturday, April15, 2023, said the boy was seen roaming in the area last Wednesday night.

One user claimed the marks on the boy’s wrist shows that he was tied up for a long time while another suspects he was a victim of domestic abuse.

“Look at his wrists. Those are not new wounds. Look how thin he is. This baby was handcuffed and tied up somewhere for a long time,” he stated.
