A suspected thief was beaten mercilessly by a mob in Ikenegbu Layout Extension in Owerri, Imo State.
One of the residents, Okigwe, who posted the photo on Tuesday, August 22, 2023, said he dealt ruthlessly with the suspect before he received the ‘general beating’.
“TRUST ME, I DEALT RUTHLESSLY WITH HIM, PLUS GENERAL BEATING. WHEN WE CALLED FIRE SERVICE POLICE STATION, THEY SAID WE SHOULD PROVIDE N20, 000 FOR THEM FIRST, BEFORE THEY WILL COME. SURELY, HE WILL NEVER WALK COMFORTABLY THROUGHOUT THIS YEAR,”
