Former Beşiktaş midfielder, Sinan Engin has named Galatasaray’s most important player under their manager, Okan Buruk this season.
According to Engin, Barış Alper Yılmaz is Galatasaray’s most important player ahead of Victor Osimhen, Mauro Icardi and Leroy Sane.
Speaking after Galatasaray’s 2-0 win against Eyüpspor in the Turkish Super Lig on Saturday, Engin said on the Assist Analysis YouTube channel that Alper Yılmaz is Galatasaray’s most creative player.
“Galatasaray doesn’t really care about the league; they’re playing like they’re training, idling,” Engin said as quoted by habersarikirmizi.
“Galatasaray’s main goal is the Champions League. Galatasaray wins matches, excluding derbies, by walking the walk. Icardi also scored a goal by walking the walk in the Eyüpspor match.
“If Barış Alper Yılmaz hadn’t come on, the match would have finished 0-0. He’s a very important factor for Galatasaray.
“In my opinion, Barış Alper Yılmaz is Galatasaray’s most creative player. He’s ahead of Icardi, Sane and Osimhen.”
