Russian Tennis star, Daniil Medvedev has recently picked Argentina’s Lionel Messi as his favorite over Portugal’s Cristiano Ronaldo.
Medvedev, who is currently No.3 in the ATP World Rankings, ended up comparing Messi with Tennis legend Roger Federer.
Speaking on an Instagram live, Medvedev said (as per A Bola Portugal):
“I respect both of them. But Leo does things with the ball that Cristiano [Ronaldo] can’t do.
“In this, Messi is like Federer. You don’t understand how they do it.”
Messi and Ronaldo are two of the greatest footballers of the modern era.
The duo have won twelve Ballon d’Or awards between themselves in the past.
They are currently in the tail-end of their glistering careers.
Messi currently plays for MSL club Inter Miami, while Ronaldo plays for Saudi Arabian side Al-Nassr.
