Head coach of Nigeria’s Super Eagles, Jose Peseiro, has revealed the better player between Ademola Lookman and Victor Osimhen.
Peseiro said Lookman is a more complete player than Osimhen.
Lookman currently plays his club football for Atalanta, while Osimhen plays for Napoli.
Both Nigerian internationals have been impressive for their respective Serie A clubs so far this season.
Lookman has scored 12 goals in 25 games for Atalanta, while Osimhen has netted 19 goals in 22 league games for Napoli.
“Ademola is more technical than Osimhen, more inclined to create the game and who is now also scoring,” Peseiro told Sport Italia.
He added: “He is performing very well this year. He grew up with Gasperini; now he is always playing. We are happy with him, high level, he too can aspire to do great things. I would add one thing that applies to both.”
Peseiro will hope both Lookman and Osimhen can replicate their club form when Nigeria clashes with Guinea-Bissau in a doubleheader Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, qualifier later this month.
