Former Manchester United winger, Angel Di Maria has shared his thoughts on an aspect of football where Al-Nassr captain, Cristiano Ronaldo outshines Inter Miami captain Lionel Messi.
As a player who has shared the field with both Ronaldo at Real Madrid and Messi with the Argentina national team, Di Maria holds a different viewpoint about the duo.
In an interview with AS, he stated that Ronaldo stands out above all other players in terms of professionalism and dedication.
Absolutely. When it comes to professionalism, Cris [Cristiano Ronaldo] is number one by far,” said Di Maria.
“His work ethic to maintaining his level while competing with Leo [Lionel Messi] is commendable.
“Cris was all about hard work and effort to be number one, but Messi later showed that he had a gift from God to be the best,” he said.
