Afrobeat singer Seun Kuti has lambasted American music star DJ Khaled over his silence on the Israeli–Palestinian conflict.
He said despite being originally from Palestine, the ‘We De Best Music’ boss is silent over the killing of his people.
He said DJ Khaled flaunts his luxurious lifestyle on social media but cannot use his influence to speak against the genocide against Palestinian women and children.
Speaking in a video message shared via his Instagram account, Kuti said, “DJ Khaled is from Palestine. This man has not said one word about the killing of his people. But let one trainers or wristwatch come out, he would post that he has acquired it to prove that he is the greatest man. But he cannot speak against the killing of women and children in his home country.”
