The Hisbah police has announced that it has arrested suspected prostitutes in the state capital, Damaturu.
The arrest happened in Yobe state on Thursday November 9.

He wrote
‘’Yesterday, the Yobe State HISBA (Hisbah) Agency conducted an operation in Damaturu, apprehending women and men involved in prostitution and alcoholism. The successful raid was led by Commissioner for Religious Affairs Alh. Umar Potiskum. The targeted areas included Zango, Maina Lodge, Ajayi, Last Bustop, and Bakin Kasuwa.”
