Nollywood actress Toyin Adewale has opened up about her son Mayorkun’s relationship with the famous group, Davido.
It is no longer news that Mayorkun was famously discovered by Afrobeats superstar Davido and spent the early part of his career under Davido Music Worldwide (DMW).

In an interview with Biola Bayo, Toyin opened up about their relationship. She revealed that the first time she saw her son working with Davido, she wept. She said she was there when Davido called her son, and he wanted to go crázy.
According to her, Davido told him to come to the studio the next day, and that was how they recorded the hit song, Eleko.

Toyin recalled her first meeting with Davido and crew. She gushed over how pleasant and respectful they all were.
“The first time I came back from America, I came back after nine years. When I got back, and I saw them, I stepped to one side and cried. (I stepped aside and wept). I said thank you, God cause they really make me proud. I was there when Davido called him; he actually wanted to go crázy. He said Davido told him to come the next day to record a song. That was the night they recorded Eleko.
Mayowa has always been someone who writes poems and loves to sing. I got there, and the boy was so pleasant. All their crews were so pleasant and respectful. They were calling me ‘Mummy’. I thank God for him; they will all prosper. They won’t fall by God’s grace “.
