The victims were abducted in Ndeji community, Lafiagi Emirate, Edu Local Government Area of Kwara State.
The wife and son of prominent Kwara businessman Alhaji Abass, popularly known as Daniyan Saba, have escaped from their abductors.

The gunmen stormed the community in the early hours of Saturday, causing panic among residents before whisking the victims away to an unknown destination.
Alhaji Abbas was recently kidnapped and spent over a month in a bandits’ den before his release.
It was gathered on Tuesday that the victims were later found in the Oreke community.
A vigilante commander in Gbugbu, Gina Muhammad, confirmed the development to Daily Trust on Wednesday, March 11.
“We learnt it was while the kidnappers were trying to take them across the Kogi highway that they escaped.
“However, we don’t know if a ransom was paid this time around for his wife and child,” Muhammad said.
Abbas previously told the publication that he and his manager, Mallam Abubakar Issa, were only released after a ransom of N105m was paid to their captors.
