Actor and filmmaker Stanley Ontop has slammed his colleague, Regina Daniels, over her rumoured reconciliation with estranged husband, Ned Nwoko.
Newsunplug reported last week that social media was agog when a video of Regina at Ned’s house went viral.
Though her sister, Destiny, shut down reports of a reconciliation between the two, many still believe the former couple have reconciled and are keeping things low-key.
Speaking out, Stanley expressed disappointment at Regina for visiting Ned without informing those who stood by and fought for her. He noted how he nearly got arrested for defending her.
The filmmaker said the news has left him embarrassed and has taught him a lesson not to interfere in marital disputes.
“I’m very angry because I almost went to prison because of this case. I’m disappointed in Regina Daniels. Now she has made me look like a fool. Many people have called me asking if it’s true that Regina Daniels has gone back to her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko. In fact, all the activists I brought into this matter are angry with me because I gave them my word that she would not go back to that house. Even the blogs I brought in to side with you, Regina, are angry with me. Many people are now angry with me and blaming me for getting involved in this case.”
