Actress Foluke Daramola-Salako has responded after media personality, Yeni Kuti, accused her of being rude during an encounter years ago.
Yeni spoke about their encounter on live TV on Wednesday, March 29, while reacting to the video Foluke shared berating Nigerian youths who are in the habit of insulting their elders on social media.
Foluke has however, denied that she was rude towards Yeni, stating that the said incident never happened.
In a video shared on Instagram this morning, Foluke said she and Ms. Kuti have spoken and ironed things out. She added that it is not in her character to be disrespectful to her peers let alone an older person. She went on to share a Yoruba adage that implies that she may have forgotten about the incident since she wasn’t the one on the receiving end. She however, went on to say that she is certain the incident between her and Ms. Kuti never happened.
