Nollywood star Tonto Dikeh has once again highlighted her commitment to her faith in Christ amid the ongoing controversy involving her, her ex-husband Olakunle Churchill, and his current wife, Rosy Meurer.
According to reports from Newsunplug, Rosy recently appeared in a viral video addressing rumors that she had an affair with Churchill while he was married to Tonto Dikeh. She insisted that the claims were false, explaining that she never had any relationship with Tonto and met Churchill independently.
“I was never friends with my husband’s ex. I have never met her, nor do we have each other’s contact information. She is about ten years older than me. All the stories about me being her friend and taking her husband are completely untrue,” Rosy stated.
After Rosy made her statement, many social media users turned to Tonto Dikeh’s Instagram page, questioning why she had renounced her former lifestyle. Several recalled that the actress might have responded sharply in the past if she had not embraced her new faith.
In response, Tonto posted on her social media account on Thursday, February 19:
“I am renewed and alert, no obstacle is too big. Nothing is impossible with God.”
