Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing has stirred conversations online after revealing on the Honest Bunch podcast that she is the mother of a six-year-old boy a detail that many fans never knew.
During the interview, the actress became emotional at intervals but firmly stated that she chooses to live life by her own rules. She addressed comments about her body, her personality, and the long-standing assumptions that she had undergone cosmetic surgery.
“My mother’s name is Gloria. Thinking you can use it to mock me is pointless. This is who I am, and that’s it. I wear what makes me comfortable. I’m not hiding from anyone,” she said.
Nkechi went on to openly discuss how she once kept parts of her personal life away from the public, including her child, but noted that she no longer feels the need to conceal anything. She recalled having someone arrested in the past after a breach of her privacy.
“I don’t really like being online, but yes, I had her arrested,” she revealed.
The most surprising moment of the episode came when she confirmed that her son is six years old then called him during the recording.
“Is Elijah at home? Please put him on the phone,” she said.
When he answered, the actress immediately softened, slipping into full mum-mode as she spoke with him.
